Pure Bliss

This painting is a heartfelt tribute, a tangible expression of love and loss.  It freezes a moment of pure happiness, a memory that holds deep significance for me.  The dog is my old boy Scooby.

The waves, rendered with a sense of movement, create a dynamic energy, capturing that feeling of endless play. His reflection in the water adds a layer of depth, symbolising the enduring presence of my beloved companion even after he passed on.

It's a painting that honors a life well-lived and a bond that transcends time. While there's an underlying sense of sadness inherent in any memorial, the dominant feeling is one of love and gratitude for the joy a dog brings into your life, however briefly.
